Hey Larry, I haven’t had any issues with overheating and shutting down. I can see it happening in hot weather running 4k or 5.3k. I’ve run them for hours at 15-20 degrees with no issues yet. I’ll do some more testing when the weather heats up again.

Hey Michael, GoPro’s from 8 on can be used while plugged into a USB-C power source. This does mean the battery cover is off or open. Fine for timelapses but not a good solution for moving around.
