DJI Launches the Osmo 360 II

DJI launched the new and improved Osmo 360 II with some important and highly requested features.

The first Osmo 360 made a strong entrance into the 360 camera space in July 2025. They pull from their handheld, action camera, and drone experience and continue to make updates to it’s already strong 360 platform. Insta360 and GoPro remain strong competitors but DJI has repeatedly shown it’s a strong, innovative technology company, not just a drone manufacturer.

The Osmo 360 II was announced September 3rd and goes on sale Sept 15.

Stay tuned for our full test and review.

Replaceable Lens Covers

360 cameras get bashed around. If they attached to your truck, board, or bike, the lens covers will get hit with stuff along the way. The lenses on the 360 II can be replaced now with a quick kit available from DJI.

100 min battery life

At 8k 30fps the 360 II gets 100 minutes for battery life. With lower resolutions, it will get higher battery life.

105gb internal battery

I’ve forgotten my SD cards too many times. With 105gb built-in memory, you can still do some shooting even if you forget your card. Add more with a micro SD card up to 1 TB.

AI SuperNight 2.0

Low light is tough for digital cameras. The ISO has to be high to be high to maintain framerate but then images get noisy. SuperNight cleans up the low light shots with AI. The 14.5 stops dynamic range helps get a clean image in the first place.

Accessories

The Osmo 360 II taps into the many accessories from the Osmo 360 and the Action series. There are already many different mounts, cases and sticks to mount these all over the place.
